Dedicated equipment for transporting natural UF₆, which was manufactured by Kobe Steel and its design approval was granted with support of TNT. Also, TNT has organized transports of natural UF₆ while operating storage and maintenance of DTC.
DN 30
Equipment for transporting enriched UF₆, which was designed and manufactured by Orano NCS (Germany). TNT supported for grant of licenses in Japan and has supported operation of DN 30 in Japan.
TN Eagle®
State-of-the-art cask designed and manufactured by Orano NPS (France). License for transport and storage in France was granted. Currently, TNT is developing its design to meet regulatory requirements in Japanese in order to supply TN Eagle as dual-purpose (transport and storage) cask (for BWR and PWR) for spent fuel to Japanese customers.
TN 24
Dry storage cask for spent fuel. In 1995, 9 units of TN24 were delivered to the Fukushima Daiichi Power Plant as Japan’s first storage cask (contracted by Kobe Steel) and has continued to store spent fuel safely until now. The track record was highly evaluated, and additional 11 units of TN24 were delivered to the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in 2013 after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
TN JA
Orano NPS (France) designed and manufactured for the transport of spent fuel in Europe. In Japan, the design approval as international transport cask for spent fuel of Fugen, the prototype Advanced Thermal Reactor, was granted with support of TNT in 2021.
TK Type Cask
Joint development between TNT and Kobe Steel. Dual-purpose (transport and storage) cask that incorporates the state-of-the-art technical know-how of the TN 24 family, which is used all over the world. The high-storage design realizes highly economical management of spent fuel. TK-26 type for PWR fuel (storing 26 fuel assemblies), TK-69 and TK-52 type for BWR fuel (storing 69 and 52 fuel assemblies respectively).

TN 12
Designed by Orano NPS (France). In the 1980s, it was mainly used between Japan and France as international transport cask for spent fuel. With changed its basket design TN 12 is currently used as international transport cask for MOX fuel. TNT supported for grant of licenses in Japan, respectively.
MX JP
Designed by Orano NPS (France). PWR MOX new fuel return-shipping cask from abroad. It was developed to transport directly from MOX fuel production plants overseas to nuclear power plants in Japan. TNT has supported for grant of licenses in Japan.
